Insurance & Roadside Assistance
Your Comprehensive Insurance Coverage
Your lease with Dominion Fleet must include a comprehensive insurance policy that meets all legal requirements and provides a robust safety net. It’s built to protect both you and the vehicle.
Key Coverages Included:
- Liability: Protects you from financial responsibility for injuries or damages to others in an at-fault accident.
- Collision: Covers damage to your leased vehicle from a collision, regardless of who is at fault.
- Comprehensive: Pays for damages to your vehicle from non-collision events like theft, vandalism, fire, or natural disasters.
- Gap Insurance: A key component of our policy. If the vehicle is a total loss, this coverage pays the difference between the car's current value and the remaining balance on the lease, so you aren't left with a huge bill.
Important Note: The policy has a deductible you are responsible for in the event of a claim. This amount is outlined in your lease agreement.
24/7 Roadside Assistance: Never Stranded
Our policies include 24/7 roadside assistance for every vehicle. This service is your first point of contact in case of an emergency. It’s designed to get you back on the road quickly, without having to call us in the middle of the night.
What's Covered:
- Towing: If your vehicle breaks down and can't be fixed on the spot, it will be towed to the nearest authorized repair facility.
- Flat Tire Service: A professional will come and change your tire for you.
- Jump Starts: If your battery dies, they'll give you a jump.
- Fuel Delivery: If you run out of gas, they'll bring you enough to get to the nearest station.
- Lockout Service: If you're locked out of the vehicle, a technician will help you get back in.
Your Action Plan for Emergencies
- Pull over safely if possible
- Call the roadside assistance number immediately. Do not call Dominion Fleet first. Their number is provided in your lease agreement and on the insurance card in your vehicle.
- Provide your location and a brief description of the issue.
- Wait for the technician to arrive.
Remember: Your car is your income. This is your gig. The more you use these provided resources, the less downtime you’ll have. Using roadside assistance is the most efficient way to handle a breakdown and keep you earning.
