FAQs

Vehicle & Lease Terms

Our fleet is built around reliable, fuel-efficient vehicles that are perfect for rideshare. We source cars from trusted brands like Toyota, Honda, Chevrolet, and Nissan. Depending on availability, you can expect sedans such as the Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima, or SUVs like the Chevrolet Equinox. All vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and fully insured so you can focus on driving and earning.
Yes, you’ll be able to select from the vehicles currently available in our fleet. While we can’t guarantee a specific make or model in advance, we do our best to match you with the vehicle type you prefer, whether that’s a compact sedan, full-size sedan, or SUV.
Absolutely. Your Dominion vehicle is yours 24/7 — you can use it both for rideshare and personal trips. There are no mileage limits, but personal travel must remain within 150 miles of our office for insurance and service purposes.
Dominion is proud to provide the first full-coverage maintenance program in rideshare history. We take care of all scheduled maintenance and major repairs, including expensive parts like tires, brake pads, rotors, and even transmissions. If a car needs a major repair, we’ll either fix it promptly or provide a replacement vehicle, keeping you on the road.
No, all service and repairs must be performed at your local Dominion Fleet office. This ensures high-quality work using approved parts and procedures. The only exception is an emergency situation, such as a flat tire or dead battery, and only if we’ve given permission in advance.
No, Dominion offers unlimited miles. Unlike other programs that charge for extra mileage, you’re free to use the vehicle as much as you need for both rideshare and personal use.

Payments & Billing

All payments are made through our secure Customer Portal, which is set up for you during the signup process. Payments are made weekly by debit or credit card. Your first week’s payment and deposit are due at pickup, and after that, you’ll be automatically charged on the same day each week.
Simply log in to the Customer Portal, click on My Payment Methods, and enter your updated card details. Once updated, your weekly payments will be automatically processed using your new card.
Dominion Fleet is your vehicle lessor. You remain an independent contractor with the rideshare company you drive for (such as Uber, Lyft, or DoorDash). This means you’ll receive 1099 tax forms directly from those companies and are responsible for filing taxes as a self-employed driver.
All tolls, parking fees, and traffic or parking violations are the responsibility of the driver. These are not included in your Dominion membership.

Accidents & Safety

First, ensure your safety and call 911 if needed. Once the situation is secure, contact Dominion immediately. Our claims department will guide you through the entire process, from filing the claim to arranging repairs or providing a temporary vehicle so you can keep driving. Please take photos of the scene, vehicles, and documents to help with the claim.
You have the option to purchase your own insurance or purchase from us. A comprehensive commercial insurance policy is required with your lease and will be active from the moment you take the keys. This is specifically designed for rideshare and delivery drivers like you. Your insurance card should be placed in the glove compartment.
Yes, our comprehensive commercial insurance policy includes roadside assistance. If you choose to purchase your own comprehensive policy, you must ensure that roadside assistance is included to meet the lease requirements. This is a must-have feature for rideshare and delivery drivers, ensuring you have support in case of a breakdown or other roadside issue.

Membership & Cancellation

Yes, there is a 6-month commitment. However, our goal is to provide you with flexibility. After the initial 6-month period, you can keep your vehicle for as long as you need it and return it at any time without penalties.
To return a vehicle, simply contact us and schedule a drop-off at least 48 hours in advance. You’ll need to settle any outstanding balance before returning the car.
No. There are no cancellation fees or hidden charges when ending your lease.
You may have the option to buy the car you’re driving at the end of your lease, provided that all terms and conditions of your lease agreement have been met. For more information, please refer to your lease contract or contact us directly.
